Yes, you can get a lot done in your pajamas in your hotel room. Sometimes it helps my productivity level if I pretend to be a real human for a little and put on clothing and am in a more lively environment. 

The bonus is that there is always wi-fi, and somebody will bring you food and beverages! Not only is it excellent people watching, but you may even have a fun conversation with the person next to you. You may also get creepy mc-creeperson, but you just tell them to F-off, and go about your business.
